Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

The Service is operated by Aleksandr Zvonarev, an individual based in Thailand, using the name Zvsquared ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms govern your use of the website and interview-practice app. You must agree to these Terms to create an account or purchase access. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing; agreement to these Terms is not blanket consent to that processing.

2. Service and Eligibility

The Service provides AI-assisted interview preparation, practice problems, mock interviews, progress tracking, and related tools. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use the Service only after obtaining that consent.

The Service is educational and does not guarantee interview, employment, examination, or other professional outcomes.

3. Accounts

To access most features of the Service you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Take reasonable steps to protect your password and account access. This does not remove any rights you have in connection with unauthorised access under applicable law.
• Notify us immediately at support@zvsquared.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
• Not create more than one account per individual without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except where applicable law permits you to do so.
• Use automated tools to extract restricted content or account data without permission. Public search indexing that follows our robots.txt rules is permitted; this does not authorise bypassing access controls or copying the private problem bank.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or any content that infringes third-party rights.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including problem sets, explanations, software, graphics, and brand assets — is owned by or licensed to Zvsquared and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes. This licence does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any Service content without our prior written consent.

We may use suggestions you send about improving the product without paying compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your interview answers or override your personal-data rights.

6. Your Content and AI Processing

You retain any rights you have in answers, drafts, notes, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. AI-assisted features send relevant content to our AI service provider to generate feedback and assessments.

You are responsible for content you submit and must have the right to use it. Do not submit confidential employer information, trade secrets, personal data about other people, or content you are not authorised to share.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain features require a paid plan. Recurring plans renew automatically until cancelled. A lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that provides access for as long as Zvsquared continues to offer the purchased Service; it is not a guarantee that the Service will operate indefinitely. The price, billing interval, and included access shown at checkout form part of these Terms.

Stripe processes payments. By purchasing a plan, you authorise the stated charge and any applicable recurring charges. You may cancel a recurring plan through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout.

Mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable cooling-off, withdrawal, refund or digital-service conformity rights, take precedence over these billing terms. Contact support@zvsquared.com with your account email, purchase date and a clear cancellation or withdrawal request. Where a 14-day statutory withdrawal period applies, it is separate from cancelling future renewals. Using the Service does not by itself waive any right that requires a separate express agreement to waive.

We may change prices or plan features prospectively. For recurring plans, material price changes will apply no earlier than the next renewal after any notice required by law.

8. Disclaimers

We aim to provide a reliable educational service, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free content. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as available without additional warranties beyond those expressly stated. This does not exclude statutory warranties, required standards of care or other mandatory consumer rights.

AI-generated feedback may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding how to use them.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses and limit total liability for claims relating to the Service to the greater of the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months or USD 100.

These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot be excluded, or any other liability or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or misuse the Service. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to your use of the Service, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections. Any dispute must be brought before a court or tribunal with lawful jurisdiction unless the parties agree to another permitted method of resolution.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent in-app notice before they take effect when required by law. Changes will not retroactively reduce rights already accrued, and we will obtain additional agreement where applicable law requires it.
